About This Role

Airmen and Airwomen are enlisted members of the Sri Lanka Air Force serving in ground crew, aircraft maintenance, signals, logistics, and base security roles. O/L minimum qualification with physical selection. Training at SLAF Base Ekala before trade-stream assignment.

  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on aircraft (for technical trades)
  • Operate ground support equipment for aircraft movement and servicing

  • Maintain and operate communication and radar systems (for signals trades)
  • Perform base security duties, including patrols and access control
  • Participate in physical training and drills
