Their day involves strategic decision-making, staff supervision, ensuring optimal environmental conditions, managing feed and health, and driving profitability. They are responsible for the overall success and sustainability of the farm.
- Developing and implementing farm production plans and budgets
- Managing staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation
- Monitoring water quality, environmental conditions, and fish/shrimp health
- Optimizing feeding regimes and managing feed inventory
- Implementing biosecurity measures and disease prevention strategies
- Overseeing harvesting, processing, and marketing of farm products

Work Environment
