An Audio Editor spends their day meticulously refining and enhancing audio recordings for various media. This involves importing raw audio, removing unwanted noise, adjusting levels, cutting and arranging segments, adding effects, and ensuring the final product meets broadcast or platform standards. They work closely with producers, directors, and sound designers to achieve the desired sonic quality and narrative flow.
- Import and organize raw audio files from various sources.
- Remove background noise, hums, clicks, and other imperfections.
- Adjust audio levels (volume, equalization, compression) for clarity and consistency.
- Cut, trim, and arrange audio segments to create a cohesive narrative.
- Synchronize audio with video footage for film, TV, or web content.
