Rehearsals are intense, requiring strong leadership to guide dancers and technical teams to achieve the desired aesthetic and emotional impact.
- Developing the overarching artistic vision and concept for dance productions (film, stage, events)
- Choreographing intricate dance sequences tailored to specific narratives or commercial briefs
- Leading and directing dancers during rehearsals, ensuring artistic and technical excellence
- Collaborating extensively with directors, producers, music composers, and technical crews
- Overseeing casting, costume design, set design, and lighting to align with the artistic vision
- Managing budgets and schedules for the dance department of a production
- Providing final artistic approval on all dance-related elements
- Mentoring junior choreographers and dancers
