A Day in the Life
Data Analysts spend their days querying databases, cleaning datasets, building dashboards, and translating numbers into business insights — acting as the bridge between raw data and decision-making.
- Write SQL queries to extract and analyse business data
- Clean and transform raw datasets for analysis
- Build and maintain dashboards in Power BI or Tableau
- Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports
- Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders
- Collaborate with business teams on data requirements
- Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities in data
Work Environment
Corporate office or WFH environment. Collaborative but largely independent analytical work. Regular stakeholder meetings balanced with deep focus time.
Typical hours: 45h/week · WLB score 8/10 · OCCASIONAL overtime
Generally excellent WLB. Deadline peaks around monthly/quarterly reports but otherwise structured hours.
