About This Role

Preparing candidates for international English proficiency exams for migration or study.

A Day in the Life

You prepare students for IELTS and PTE Academic examinations, coaching all four skills — listening, reading, writing, and speaking — with exam-specific strategies to achieve their target band scores for migration, study, or professional registration.

  • Conduct diagnostic assessments to gauge students' current IELTS or PTE proficiency
  • Deliver targeted coaching for listening, reading, writing (task 1 & 2), and speaking components
  • Teach exam-specific strategies — question-type recognition, time management, band score optimisation
  • Administer practice tests under timed exam conditions and debrief results
  • Provide detailed written feedback on Task 1 (graphs/charts) and Task 2 (essays)
  • Coach speaking fluency, coherence, lexical resource, and pronunciation for IELTS Speaking Part 2 & 3
  • Update knowledge of IELTS/PTE format changes and official marking criteria
  • Create or source practice materials including mock tests, vocabulary lists, and model answers
