Their day involves reviewing technical packs, conducting fit sessions, advising on construction methods, and resolving technical issues to ensure product quality and manufacturability.
- Reviewing buyer's technical specifications and design packs for feasibility
- Conducting fit sessions with models and making necessary adjustments to patterns/samples
- Advising production teams on garment construction methods and technical challenges
- Communicating technical details and changes effectively to both buyers and factories
- Ensuring all technical aspects (measurements, fabric performance, stitching) meet standards
- Troubleshooting technical issues during sample development and bulk production
- Approving samples for production based on technical compliance
- Collaborating with pattern makers, quality control, and production supervisors
Work Environment
