A Day in the Life
A Project Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer is responsible for tracking the progress, performance, and impact of development projects. This involves designing M&E frameworks, collecting and analyzing data, conducting field visits, writing reports, and providing recommendations to improve project effectiveness.
- Developing and implementing M&E plans and frameworks for projects
- Designing data collection tools (surveys, questionnaires, interview guides)
- Collecting quantitative and qualitative data through field visits and other methods
- Analyzing data to assess project progress, outcomes, and impact
- Preparing comprehensive M&E reports for donors and internal stakeholders
- Providing feedback and recommendations to project teams for improvement
- Conducting baseline, midline, and endline surveys and evaluations
- Ensuring data quality, integrity, and ethical considerations
Work Environment
