A Day in the Life

Provide structured psychological counseling using evidence-based therapeutic frameworks to individuals and groups experiencing mental health difficulties in clinical, organizational, or community settings in Sri Lanka.

  • Conduct intake assessments and psychological history-taking
  • Apply structured therapeutic modalities (CBT, DBT, EMDR, mindfulness-based)
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions
  • Develop and monitor treatment plans with measurable goals
  • Provide crisis counseling and safety planning
  • Maintain clinical documentation and progress notes
  • Participate in case supervision (receiving and giving)
  • Conduct psychometric assessments (PHQ-9, GAD-7, Beck Depression Inventory)
