A Day in the Life

You teach Education at university level, covering educational theory, pedagogy, curriculum studies, educational psychology, and teacher training, while conducting research and contributing to the academic development of the teaching profession.

  • Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Education, Pedagogy, or Curriculum Studies
  • Teach modules in educational psychology, curriculum design, learning theories, or education policy
  • Supervise student teachers on teaching practice placement
  • Conduct research in education and publish in peer-reviewed journals
  • Assess student essays, teaching portfolios, and research dissertations
  • Develop and revise curriculum for B.Ed. and education postgraduate programmes
  • Provide academic guidance and mentoring to student teachers
  • Contribute to faculty committees, external examination, and accreditation activities
