A Day in the Life

Analyses complex aerospace system architectures — assessing integration, performance, safety, and reliability of aircraft, satellite, or UAV systems from a whole-system perspective through modelling, simulation, and systems engineering methods.

  • Develop system architecture models for aerospace vehicles using MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering)
  • Perform systems integration analysis — interface definition, data flow, functional decomposition
  • Conduct reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety (RAMS) analysis
  • Run system-level simulations to identify emergent behaviours and failure modes
  • Review subsystem designs for compliance with top-level system requirements
  • Prepare Systems Requirements Documents (SRDs) and Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
  • Support certification by preparing safety case evidence and system verification records
