A Day in the Life
A typical day involves field visits to farms to assess soil health and crop conditions, meeting with farmers to discuss nutrient-dense crop cultivation, developing customized nutrition plans, and collaborating with researchers on bio-fortification projects. Time is also spent analyzing data and preparing reports for stakeholders.
- Conduct farm visits to evaluate current agricultural practices and soil conditions
- Advise farmers on selecting and cultivating bio-fortified and nutrient-dense crops
- Develop tailored crop nutrition and fertilization plans
- Collect and analyze soil and plant tissue samples for nutrient content
- Organize and conduct farmer training workshops on sustainable and nutritious farming
- Collaborate with agricultural research institutions on new crop varieties
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for government and NGO partners
- Monitor the impact of interventions on crop yield and nutritional value
Work Environment
