A Day in the Life
An Agro-Chemical Rep spends their day visiting farms and agricultural businesses, providing technical advice on fertilizers, seeds, and crop protection products. This involves understanding farmer needs, recommending suitable products, conducting field demonstrations, and achieving sales targets.
- Visit farms and agricultural dealers to build relationships and understand their crop and soil needs
- Provide technical advice and recommendations on the appropriate use of fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and seeds
- Conduct field demonstrations of agro-chemical products and explain their benefits and application methods
- Achieve sales targets for a range of agricultural inputs and manage customer accounts
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and gather feedback from farmers
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and maintain accurate customer records
- Attend training sessions to stay updated on new products, agricultural technologies, and regulations
- Address customer complaints and provide after-sales support
Work Environment
