  • Operate and troubleshoot HPLC, GC-MS, ICP-MS, FTIR, and NMR instruments
  • Develop and validate new analytical methods for novel compounds or matrices
  • Perform instrument qualification — IQ, OQ, PQ — and maintain calibration records
  • Analyse complex samples requiring multi-technique characterisation
  • Interpret mass spectra, chromatograms, and spectral data for compound identification
  • Train junior analysts on instrument operation and data interpretation
  • Maintain instrument performance — column care, source cleaning, calibration schedules
