Industrial Biostatisticians apply statistical methods in pharmaceutical manufacturing and quality control settings — supporting process validation, stability studies, manufacturing data analysis, and compliance with regulatory statistical requirements.

  • Perform statistical analysis for process validation protocols and manufacturing batch data
  • Conduct stability study design and analysis per ICH Q1 guidelines
  • Apply statistical process control (SPC) to manufacturing quality data
  • Design and analyse Design of Experiments (DoE) for process optimisation studies
  • Review and approve statistical sections of validation reports and regulatory submissions
  • Train manufacturing and quality engineers on statistical tools and methods
  • Perform capability studies and control chart development for critical quality attributes
  • Respond to regulatory queries on statistical methodologies used in submissions
