A Day in the Life
Circular Economy Specialists in Sri Lanka design systems and strategies that eliminate waste and maximise resource efficiency — working with manufacturers, municipalities, and policymakers to shift from linear take-make-dispose models to regenerative cycles.
- Audit material flows and waste streams in manufacturing or municipal systems
- Design circular business models (product-as-a-service, take-back schemes, remanufacturing)
- Prepare circularity roadmaps and implementation strategies for corporate clients or government
- Analyse life cycle assessments (LCA) and environmental footprint data
- Engage stakeholders including businesses, communities, and government on circular economy transitions
- Identify circular economy investment opportunities and prepare business cases
- Track and report circularity KPIs and sustainability performance metrics
- Advise on circular economy policy and regulatory frameworks for Sri Lanka
Work Environment
Typical hours: 42h/week · WLB score 8/10 · OCCASIONAL overtime
Office-based strategic work; good WLB with predictable hours.
