A Day in the Life
Builds AI systems that can interpret and understand visual information — images, video, and real-time camera feeds. In Sri Lanka, works on applications from medical imaging to security systems and autonomous vehicle research.
- Develop image recognition and object detection models
- Collect and annotate visual training datasets
- Train and fine-tune deep learning models (YOLO, ResNet, etc.)
- Integrate CV models into production systems
- Evaluate model accuracy and handle edge cases
- Collaborate with hardware teams for embedded deployments
- Research new CV techniques and papers
Work Environment
