A Day in the Life
An Ecotoxicologist (Wildlife) spends their days conducting field surveys to collect environmental samples and observe wildlife, followed by laboratory analysis to detect pollutants and assess their impact. They also dedicate time to data interpretation, report writing, and collaborating with conservationists and policymakers.
- Plan and execute field expeditions to collect water, soil, sediment, and biological samples.
- Conduct laboratory analyses using advanced instruments to identify and quantify environmental contaminants.
