A Day in the Life
An Environmental Bioremediator spends their day in both the lab and field, collecting samples, setting up bioremediation experiments, monitoring microbial activity, and analyzing data to assess the effectiveness of biological solutions for pollution cleanup.
- Collect soil, water, and sediment samples from polluted sites for analysis.
- Isolate and characterize microorganisms with bioremediation potential.
- Design and set up laboratory-scale bioremediation experiments.
