A Day in the Life
An Environmental Compliance Auditor spends their day reviewing company operations, documentation, and practices against environmental laws and internal policies. This involves site visits, interviews, data analysis, and report writing to identify non-compliance and recommend corrective actions.
- Plan and conduct environmental compliance audits of industrial facilities or land use projects.
- Review permits, licenses, monitoring reports, and environmental management plans.
- Inspect operational areas, waste storage, and discharge points for compliance with regulations.
- Interview staff to assess understanding and implementation of environmental procedures.
- Identify non-compliance issues, potential risks, and areas for improvement.
