A Day in the Life

You diagnose, service, and repair electric vehicle systems — high-voltage battery packs, inverters, electric motors, and charging infrastructure — ensuring safe and efficient EV operation.

  • Follow HV isolation and lock-out/tag-out procedures before working on EV systems
  • Diagnose battery management system (BMS) faults using OEM diagnostic software
  • Perform cell-level battery testing and capacity measurement
  • Service and replace high-voltage contactors, fuses, and cooling systems
  • Diagnose and repair electric motor and inverter drive faults
  • Test and maintain EV charging stations (AC and DC fast chargers)
  • Reflash and update EV control unit firmware
  • Advise customers on battery health, range optimisation, and charging best practices
