A Day in the Life

You specialise in the diagnosis, maintenance, and replacement of hybrid and electric vehicle battery packs — testing cell health, managing thermal systems, and performing battery reconditioning or replacement.

  • Perform battery state-of-health (SoH) and state-of-charge (SoC) assessments
  • Diagnose BMS fault codes and identify degraded or faulty battery cells
  • Replace failed battery modules or cells in hybrid/EV battery packs
  • Recondition NiMH hybrid battery packs (Toyota/Honda hybrids)
  • Maintain battery thermal management systems (cooling pumps, heat exchangers)
  • Perform high-voltage system isolation and safety checks before service
  • Update battery management firmware via OEM diagnostic tools
  • Advise customers on battery health status and expected remaining lifespan
