A Day in the Life
A Materials Informatics Scientist applies advanced AI and machine learning techniques to analyze complex physics and chemistry data. They spend their days developing predictive models, designing experiments computationally, and collaborating with experimentalists to discover and optimize new high-performance materials.
- Develop and refine machine learning algorithms for materials property prediction
- Analyze large datasets from experimental and computational materials research
