- Prepare and accurately measure radiopharmaceuticals for patient administration.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients orally, intravenously, or by inhalation.
- Operate and troubleshoot nuclear medicine imaging equipment (e.g., SPECT, PET/CT, Gamma Cameras).
- Position patients for optimal imaging and ensure their comfort and safety during procedures.
- Acquire, process, and evaluate diagnostic images for quality and completeness.
- Maintain detailed patient records and documentation of radiopharmaceutical usage.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and provide appropriate care.
- Perform daily quality control checks on equipment and radiopharmaceuticals.
- Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols for self, patients, and staff.
