A Day in the Life

A Packhouse Manager oversees the entire operation of a facility where fresh produce is prepared for market. This includes managing staff, optimizing sorting, grading, and packing processes, ensuring quality control and food safety, managing inventory, and coordinating with logistics to ensure timely dispatch of produce to local or international buyers.

  • Supervise and manage packhouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
