- Assist in designing and executing experiments for plant genetic modification
- Perform DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, gel electrophoresis, and sequencing preparation
- Prepare media, reagents, and sterile equipment for laboratory procedures
- Maintain detailed records of experimental protocols, observations, and results
- Assist with plant tissue culture and regeneration techniques
- Learn to operate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment
