About This Role
Develops scripts to automate software testing.
A Day in the Life
Design and build automated test frameworks, write automated test scripts, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and ensure software quality through systematic testing.
- Design and develop automated test frameworks
- Write automated UI, API, and performance tests
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Review failing tests and investigate root causes
- Collaborate with developers on testability
- Maintain and update test suites for new features
- Conduct code reviews for test code
- Report test metrics and quality dashboards
Work Environment
Quality engineering environment with a strong coding culture. Bridges development and QA. Works closely with DevOps and software engineers.
Typical hours: 45h/week · WLB score 7/10 · OCCASIONAL overtime
