A Quality Systems Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing an organization's entire quality management system (QMS), ensuring compliance with international standards like ISO and GMP. Their day involves strategic planning, auditing, documentation, and driving continuous improvement across all quality processes.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's Quality Management System (QMS)
- Lead internal and external audits (e.g., ISO 9001, GMP, GLP) and manage corrective actions
- Ensure all quality processes and documentation comply with relevant international standards and regulations
- Manage the quality documentation system, including policies, procedures, and work instructions
- Provide training and guidance to staff on QMS requirements and quality best practices
- Collaborate with all departments to integrate quality principles into daily operations
- Conduct management reviews of the QMS and report on its effectiveness to senior leadership
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on audit findings, customer feedback, and performance data
Work Environment
