A Renewable Energy Project Manager oversees the entire lifecycle of sustainable energy projects, from initial feasibility studies to commissioning. This involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing budgets and timelines, ensuring regulatory compliance, and liaising with stakeholders to successfully deliver solar, wind, or hydro-energy installations.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, budget, and timeline.
- Coordinate and manage multidisciplinary project teams (engineers, contractors, consultants).
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental standards, and safety protocols.
- Liaise with clients, government authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage project finances, including procurement and cost control.
- Prepare regular project status reports and presentations.
- Oversee commissioning and handover of completed projects.
Work Environment
A mix of office-based planning and coordination, site visits to project locations (which can be remote), and meetings with various stakeholders. The environment is dynamic, requiring adaptability and strong organizational skills.
