A Seismologist / Hazard Analyst spends their day monitoring seismic activity, analyzing data to assess earthquake and landslide risks, and developing strategies for disaster mitigation. This involves a blend of scientific research, data interpretation, and practical application for public safety.
- Monitor real-time seismic data for earthquake detection and analysis
- Conduct seismic hazard assessments for specific regions or infrastructure projects
