A Day in the Life
A Sustainable Product Specialist focuses on ensuring that products are designed, manufactured, and disposed of in an eco-friendly manner. This involves collaborating with R&D, production, and marketing teams to integrate sustainable materials, processes, and end-of-life solutions throughout the product lifecycle.
- Conduct research on sustainable materials and manufacturing processes
- Evaluate product designs for environmental impact and circularity potential
- Collaborate with R&D to incorporate eco-friendly features into new products
- Work with supply chain teams to source sustainable and ethical materials
- Develop and implement strategies for product end-of-life (recycling, upcycling)
- Assess and report on product sustainability performance metrics

Work Environment
