A Day in the Life
Analyse HR processes, policies, and workforce data to identify improvement opportunities, support HR decision-making, and ensure HR operations are efficient, compliant, and aligned to business needs.
- Analyse HR operational processes and identify efficiency and compliance gaps
- Prepare workforce analysis: headcount trends, attrition, absenteeism, overtime
- Support HR policy reviews with benchmarking data and analytical recommendations
- Produce regular HR management information reports
- Assist in compensation benchmarking analysis and pay equity reviews
- Conduct job evaluation and role sizing analysis
- Support annual HR planning and budgeting processes with data and modelling
- Respond to ad hoc data requests from HR Managers and business leaders
Work Environment
Mid-level generalist analytical role within an HR function. Bridges pure HR administration and strategic HR analysis. Found in large organisations across all sectors in Sri Lanka. Reports to an HR Manager or Head of HR and works across multiple HR functions.
