A Day in the Life

Leads the business development function — managing a team of BD executives, setting revenue targets, forming strategic partnerships, and securing major deals to drive company growth.

  • Set quarterly and annual revenue targets for the BD team
  • Lead high-value client negotiations and close strategic deals
  • Develop and execute the business development strategy
  • Manage and mentor BD executives and senior executives
  • Build C-level relationships with partners and key accounts
  • Analyse market trends and competitor landscape
  • Present BD pipeline updates and revenue forecasts to leadership
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams
  • Attend board-level and industry association meetings
  • Identify and evaluate M&A opportunities or strategic alliances
