A Day in the Life

Manage VIP and long-stay guest experiences — ensuring personalized service, handling special requests, and transforming guest feedback into service improvements at a hotel in Sri Lanka.

  • Review VIP, long-stay, and loyalty member arrivals and prepare personalized welcome
  • Escort VIP guests to rooms and provide personalized property orientation
  • Coordinate special amenities (flowers, cakes, butler service, room preferences)
  • Conduct in-room check-in for top-tier guests
  • Gather and action guest feedback during stay (mid-stay surveys)
  • Handle complaints with service recovery — room changes, upgrades, compensation
  • Write personalized thank-you notes and follow up after stays
  • Prepare VIP arrival reports and brief front office and housekeeping
